Abstract

The ability of village officials to utilize computer network technology, especially Local Area Networks (LAN), is important in supporting work efficiency and public services. However, in Tinumpuk Village, Purwosari District, Bojonegoro Regency, limited understanding and technical skills of village officials regarding LAN networks is still a major obstacle. This training aims to increase the knowledge and skills of village officials in installing and managing LAN networks. The training method includes theory and hands-on practice sessions which include basic introduction to networks, device configuration, network installation, and basic troubleshooting. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' understanding of LAN networks, with 85% of participants able to understand basic LAN theory and 90% of participants successfully installing the network independently. The post-training evaluation also showed that village officials were able to implement the LAN network at the village office well and independently. Thus, this training succeeded in equipping Tinumpuk Village officials with the skills needed to optimize network technology to support administrative tasks and services to the community.

  • Improved Competency: 85% of participants understood LAN basics, and 90% successfully installed networks independently.
  • Effective Implementation: Village officials now utilize LANs independently, enhancing administrative efficiency and public service delivery.
