https://ijccd.umsida.ac.id/index.php/ijccd/article/view/1161

Theneral background greenhouse technology is increasingly recognized as an efficient solution for sustainable agricultural practices, especially in regions with limited fertile land. Specific background In Kedungpeluk Village, where the majority of residents work as fish farmers, there are also unused and arid lands. These underutilized spaces provide an opportunity for greenhouse-based horticultural cultivation using soil media and hydroponic technology. Knowledge gap however, limited knowledge and infrastructure have prevented local farmers from effectively utilizing these lands for sustainable crop production. Aims this community engagement project aims to build and utilize a greenhouse system to cultivate horticultural plants, focusing on optimizing both soil and hydroponic methods. Results the project successfully transformed barren land into productive greenhouses that facilitate the growth of tomatoes, chilies, eggplants, pak choy, and water spinach. The greenhouse structure, designed with transparent roofing, enhances sunlight exposure, promoting optimal plant growth. Both soil and hydroponic methods showed potential for increasing crop yields, with soil cultivation being more flexible but requiring extra care for pests, while hydroponics provided faster results with minimal weed and pest interference. Novelty this project introduces a dual-method approach combining traditional soil cultivation with modern hydroponic technology in a controlled greenhouse environment. Implications the findings highlight that greenhouse farming is a viable, modern agricultural solution for rural communities, offering increased productivity and quality crops, while also addressing the challenges of limited fertile land and changing climate conditions. This project serves as a model for sustainable agriculture in similar settings.

Highlights:

Dual-method approach: Combining soil and hydroponic techniques in a greenhouse.

Efficient land use: Transforming unused arid land for productive horticulture.

Controlled environment: Optimizing plant growth through sunlight, temperature, and humidity control.

Keywords: Greenhouse, Horticulture, Soil Media, Hydroponics, Sustainable Agriculture
Mas OetarjoFarida Rokhmah Nadia Trisna Andini

https://ijccd.umsida.ac.id/index.php/ijccd/article/view/1191

The question of whether an object can inform a subject of its inherent nature reveals complexities in the subject-object relationship in perception. Human perception is inherently limited by the physiological structures of the senses, and thus, reality is interpreted rather than directly experienced. For instance, the color orange is not an inherent trait of an object but a perception shaped by the human eye's capacity to detect certain wavelengths of light. Variations in sensory structures across species highlight that other beings may perceive the same object differently; many animals, for instance, have distinct visual and auditory ranges, allowing them to see ultraviolet light or hear frequencies beyond human capacity. This limitation of human senses, however, is often overcome through technology—such as telescopes, microscopes, and specialized audio equipment—enabling insights beyond natural perception. Philosophically, this emphasizes the role of the intellect in compensating for sensory limitations, facilitating a structured understanding of phenomena that are otherwise inaccessible. Different epistemologies, including empiricism and rationalism, debate whether the senses alone or in conjunction with reason reveal truth, while Islamic perspectives emphasize a harmonious relationship between the two, with both seen as essential yet ultimately limited in understanding metaphysical or divine truths. This interplay between sensory perception and intellectual inference demonstrates the intricate processes humans employ to approximate an understanding of reality and its complexities.

Highlights:

Perception’s Limits: Senses offer partial, not full, reality.

Tech’s Role: Extends perception beyond natural limits.

Philosophy’s Insight: Highlights sensory and perceptual boundaries.

Keywords: Subject-object-perception, sensory limitations, epistemology, intellect, human perception
Kumara Adji Kusuma

Ranting Muhammadiyah Kemasan, in collaboration with KKNT-T students, focuses on community empowerment and environmental improvement at Masjid Al-Muhtadin. The main challenges are the lack of green space and poor waste management. The program consists of three stages: Observation, Implementation, and Maintenance. The observation stage identifies environmental issues such as disorganized construction materials and insufficient green areas. Implementation includes planting ornamental and TOGA plants and providing waste bins for organic and inorganic waste separation. Maintenance involves watering and educating the community on cleanliness. As a result, the aesthetics and comfort of the mosque environment have improved, TOGA plants offer long-term benefits, and community awareness of mosque cleanliness has increased, strengthening collective responsibility.
Naufal Galfan SyahErlina Widya SantriWidya Kusuma DewiM Abror

https://ijccd.umsida.ac.id/index.php/ijccd/article/view/1132

MSMEs are an important part of the Indonesian economy. In Penatarsewu Village, MSMEs excel with products such as smoked fish and herbal medicine. However, many MSMEs do not yet understand the importance of business legality, such as NIB and Halal Certificates, so that their access to a wider market is hampered. In response to this, the KKN-T Team 24 of the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo provided assistance to MSMEs. They helped business actors understand the importance of legality, branding, and provided socialization. As a result, several MSMEs succeeded in obtaining NIB, assisting in registering Halal Certificates, and updating branding such as logos and packaging. In addition, they also created social media accounts and websites as a means of promotion. With this support, MSMEs are expected to grow more rapidly and support the village economy.
Anis Khoirin HayatiSofi Intan Febrianti Dewi Nurus Silmi

https://ijccd.umsida.ac.id/index.php/ijccd/article/view/1165

Community Service Program (KKN) is an extracurricular activity that combines the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, as well as learning and community service. This course is designed to provide students with real-world experience while also enhancing their critical thinking skills. KKN focuses on community welfare. This article discusses the implementation of the 2024 KKN-T group 23 in Kalitengah Village, Tanggulangin, focusing on the educational aspect. This study examines the challenges of teaching in the Aisyiyah Kindergarten class in Kalitengah Village and explores the innovative opportunities that arise from this situation. With an unfavorable teacher-to-student ratio, this educational institution faces several challenges in providing high-quality education. Using qualitative research methods, this study examines the adaptive strategies developed by students and teachers. Data was collected through participatory observation, interviews with teachers and school principals, as well as analysis of school documents. The main idea is that the lack of human capital has driven the implementation of more collaborative and creative learning methods. Strategies such as the implementation of a peer mentoring system, integration of educational technology, and active involvement of parents in the learning process have produced unexpectedly positive outcomes. The research results indicate an increase in student independence, better development of social-emotional skills, as well as efficiency in time and resource management. This study concludes that challenges can serve as a catalyst for educational innovation, with important implications for the development of adaptive and effective classroom management models in other early childhood education institutions facing similar limitations.
Anis Khoirin Hayati Ita Tafiur Rosyidah Eva Dwi Maulidiya Dirham RaharjoYuswono Hariswanda

Education is a critical determinant of successful development across economic, social, and cultural dimensions. In parallel, entrepreneurship plays a significant role in regional advancement, particularly within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Despite the nutritional benefits of Moringa leaves, there is limited awareness among MSME actors regarding their potential applications in health-focused products. This community service program aims to enhance the competencies of MSME entrepreneurs in Ketimang Village by promoting Moringa leaves as a health-beneficial tea. Implementation involved a series of activities, including a location survey, problem formulation, execution, and monitoring, culminating in the development of a community service journal. The outreach efforts led to a marked increase in public awareness about the health benefits of Moringa leaves, particularly in tea form. This initiative uniquely combines educational elements with practical processing methods for Moringa leaves, fostering innovation among local entrepreneurs. The findings underscore the potential of Moringa leaves as a valuable resource for health promotion and entrepreneurial development, suggesting that similar programs could further empower MSMEs while enhancing community health awareness.

Highlights:

Increased awareness of Moringa leaves' health benefits among MSME entrepreneurs.

Utilized a systematic implementation approach, including surveys and evaluations.

Fostered innovation by providing practical methods for processing Moringa into tea.

Keywords: Moringa leaves, health benefits, MSMEs, community service, entrepreneurship

Aminuddin NazibMukhbit Al YaafiM.
Stunting is a global health issue that significantly impacts the growth and development of children, particularly in regions facing nutritional deficiencies. In Sawocangkring Village, there is a pressing need for innovative nutritional interventions. This study aims to utilize moringa leaves in the production of cookies as a nutritious snack solution to combat stunting. The community service program was designed with distinct stages, including preparation, implementation, and evaluation, employing observation techniques to assess community engagement. The activity centered on developing moringa leaf cookies while monitoring the community's acceptance of the product. The findings indicate that these cookies not only enhance the nutritional value of snacks but are also positively received by the local population. The novelty of this initiative lies in integrating moringa leaves into a familiar food product, thereby promoting both health benefits and local agricultural resources. https://ijccd.umsida.ac.id/index.php/ijccd/article/view/1169

Abstract. General Background: Social media platforms have transformed into vital spaces for self-expression, particularly for individuals who struggle to articulate their thoughts in face-to-face interactions. Specific Background: This study investigates the self-disclosure strategies of introverted individuals on platform X, employing Alfred Schutz's phenomenology and Erving Goffman's dramaturgical theory to analyze the dynamics of their online interactions. Knowledge Gap: While existing literature has explored self-presentation in social media, the nuanced experiences of introverts and the role of anonymity in facilitating self-disclosure remain under-researched. Aims: The study aims to uncover the motives and meanings behind the online behaviors of introverted individuals who adopt extroverted personas on platform X. Results: Findings from nine informants reveal that anonymity enables a liberating front stage, allowing for greater openness in self-disclosure, even among individuals experiencing gender inversion.
The increasing competition in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, particularly in the culinary field, necessitates effective branding strategies to enhance marketability. Despite the potential of rebranding to improve visibility and customer engagement, many MSMEs lack the skills to create compelling logos and packaging that reflect their brand identity. This study addresses this knowledge gap by implementing a training program in Kenongo Village focusing on rebranding using Canva and product photography. The primary aim of this training was to enhance the design capabilities of 16 MSME participants, particularly those without existing logos or employing simplistic packaging. Post-training assessments indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding of rebranding concepts and their proficiency in utilizing the Canva application, resulting in logos and packaging that added value to their products and improved their market image. This training introduced participants to digital design tools, fostering a stronger visual identity for their businesses. While some participants experienced technical challenges due to varying levels of digital literacy, the training effectively motivated them to prioritize the development of their brand identity, suggesting that similar initiatives could be beneficial for other MSME groups seeking to enhance their competitiveness in the market.

Highlights:

Training Impact: Significant improvement in design skills and understanding of branding concepts among participants.

Digital Literacy: Varying levels of digital skills presented challenges, highlighting the need for tailored training approaches.

Market Competitiveness: Enhanced visual identity can lead to improved product image and broader market reach for MSMEs.

Keywords: rebranding, MSMEs, Canva, product photography, culinary sector

Novi Nur AiniSyawala Putri SafinskaMetatia Intan Mauliana
